PAYMENTS TO DATE. (Per United Press Association.; WELLINGTON. June 4, According to a return furnished by Mr R. Triggs, Controller of the Department of Imperial Government Supplies, the following amounts have been paid out by the Department for New Zealand produce up to May 31 last:- —Frozen meat, £47,392,894; cheese, 191-5-16 season, £913,104; cheese, 1916-17 season, £3,271,982; cheese, 1917-18 season, £5,013,295; cheese, 1918-19 season, £5,060,453; cheese, 1919-20 season, £5,576,725; butter, 1917-18 season. £2,829,032; butter, 1918-19 season, £2,920,611 ; butter, 1919-20 season, £2,751,437; butter equalisation funds, £822,851; scheclite, £175,972; wool, £50,179,254; freezing companies:’ shoe wool, £6,618,515; sheepskins, £2,724,776; hides, £735,663; other business, £1,735,836; total, £139,333,400.
