A MISSING MAN

DROWNING FATALITY LLARKD, (Per United Press Association.) TiMARU, June 3. On Tuesday afternoon a retired farmer named William Geddes, aged 55, living at Timaru, went fishing on the eastern mole staging, and did not return. At 4 p.m. that day a fishing rod and bag were found oa the staging near the outer end. This morning Mrs Geddes- reitorte 1 (hat her husband was missing, and diligent search was made without result. A considerable sea was running yesterday, and it is: concluded that the missing man was washed off the staging.
