The Court of Disputed Election Results, on an appeal by Mr McGrath, declared the election tor the Ballarat seat at the last Federal elections void, the Court stating that the evidence revealed almost incredible carelessness on the part of the local officers. The case arose out of the defeat of Mr McGrath, the retiring Labour member, by Mr Kerby, a Nationalist, by one vote. RAIN IN NEW SOUTH WALES. GOOD FALL IN DROUGHT AREAS. SYDNEY, June 2.
