SINN FEIN RAID IN KILKENNY
EFFECTIVE CAVALRY CHARGE,

A cavalry charge frustrated an attack hy 200 armed raiders on a Kilkenny village, scattering anti chatting the attackers for a considerable distance. Sinn Fein raiders dismantled the Mizen Head fog signal station at the south-western extremity of County Cork. This station is essential for the safety of Transatlantic traffic, and mariners have been warned that the signals must not be relied upon.
