GOOD SEASON FOR GROWERS. THE EXPORTABLE SURPLUS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 25. Referring to the good season experienced by southern apple growers, Mr .Massey expressed the opinion to-day that there would be a surplus of 100,000 cases for export, still leaving a plentiful supply for the requirements of New Zealand consumers. He was doing his best to obtain shipping space for apples, and he had some hope of being able to obtain space for some at least of the surplus.
