(Received May 24, 10.5 p.m.) Mr Gomper.s suggested live remedies for the present industrial unrest in the United States, namely, an immediate adjustment of wages, effective action to prevent continued increase in the cost, of living, stoppage of all anti-strike legislation, Congress immediately to consider a proposal that credit and capital should be taken from the hands of private financiers, placed in public trust, and administered on the cooperative principle, Congress to provide immediately for full publicity of income tax returns.
