Affidavits filed in London by tlie Czar’s sister, the wife of Grand Duke Alexander, dispose of stories that some members of (he Royal family escaped and confirm the report that the Czar died on July 1,6, 1218, at. Eka'rrinburg. Neither bis wife nor any child survived. The Russian law provides that interest in his estate vests in his two surviving sisters. The Grand Duchess has been granted letters of administration of the English estate, valued nt £SOO,
