THE ROYAL ROUTE. r T'HE Route which the Royal Party will follow will be roped on each side from the Railway Station to the A. and P. .Association Grounds, via the Crescent, Dee street (west side only), and Victoria Avenue. Movable ropes will be placed at all intersection streets on the route. Officials will be in attendance to remove these ropes in case of emergency. Pedestrian Traffic and Space Reserved for the Public. With the exception of the roped-in space at the Railway Station, the Royal Route, and crossings on the west side of Dee street, a!! footpaths and roads will be available for pedestrian? and onlookers. This will apply to the several occasions on which the Royal Party will pass through the streets. Vehicular Traffic. No vehicular traffic, other than the Official Motor Cars, wall be allowed in Leven street, from Gala street to the south side of the Orescent; in the Crescent from Liddel street to Dee street; in Dee street from Tay street south to Earnslaw street south, between the hours of 1.30 p.m. and 5.30 pun., and S pun. to 10.30 p.m. Tramcars as- arranged with the Tramway Dcnnitmenl. In cases of extreme emergency and at the discretion of (he Marshal (Mr W. B. O’Toole, 1 and Assistants, or the Police auth- ! critics, vehicles may be allowed to erosc i the route at the intersecting streets during the above hours, but on no pretence whatever will vehicles be allowed to pass north cr south along Dee street. Where Motor Vehicles may be Parked. Motor vehicles, may, at their owners’ risk and subject to the conditions mentioned h-rounder, be parked in the following streets east of Dee street;—Tay, E.-:k, Don, Spey, Leet, and Gala streets (south side only). No vehicles can be allowed in Yarrow street. Victoria Avenue-, or in Dee street between Victoria Avenue and Earnsdaw .street, south. Vehicles are. to be placet! with the backs fowards (he footpath kerb. The parking of all vehicles to 1-c under the supervision of a Corporation Official. NOTE.—The above does not apply to horse vehicles or horses ridden, both of which are strictly forbidden in the areas referred to above, from ! .30 to 10.30 p.m., •excepting at the discretion of Officials. Vehicles Plying for Hire. The above regulations apply in every particular to vehicles plying for hire as far a; the areas mentioned above are concerned. Such vehicles, however, may take un stand in Taj- street north, extending from one chain east of Dee street towards Kelvin street. Souvenir Programmes. Illegal Use of Verandahs and Balconies. The attention of the public is hereby drawn to the fact that the use of verandahs and Balconies over Footways for accommodating persons on the roof thereof is PROHIBITED. Any person permitting the use of Verandahs and Balconies for such purposes is liable to Prosecution for a Breach of the Borough By-laws. Thoss making arrangements for sightseeing in connection with the forthcoming visit of hia Royal Highness the Prince of• Wales are requested to take particular notice of this intimation. F.
