RENOWN MEN
HOLIDAY AT TIMARU. (Per United Press Associations TIMARU, May 17. A large party of Renown men and the ship’s band visited Timaru to-day by a special train. After luncheon the majority accepted an invitation to take a run into the country, and a procession of about 50 cars had a good run through the Downs’ farms and across Pareora/' A drawback was that the roads were very dusty. A holiday was observed in the town, and a large crowd welcomed the visitors and listened to the band.
