ITALIAN CRISIS
NITTI REFUSES TO RECONSTRUCT.
(By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) ROME, May 14. (Received May 16, 5.5 p.m.) Signor Nitti has declined an invitation to reconstruct the Cabinet. Efforts to effect a compromise between Signor Nitti and Signor Meda for the formation of a Cabinet failed. The King invited Signor Bonomi, a Socialist Reformist, to form a Ministry, but his success is doubtful.
