POVERTY BAY ENTERPRISES COMBINE (Per United Press Association.) GISBORNE, May 13. An important amalgamation of fanners’ interests has been agreed upon subject to confirmation by the thoreholders concerned in the Gisborne Sheepfarmcrs’ Frozen Meat Company, apart from its mercantile side. The Tokornaru Bay works and the works now being constructed at Hicks Bay will amalgamate with tha Gisborne Sheepfarmcrs’ mercantile business. The Tokornaru Trading Company, Te Araroa Trading Company, and Gisborne Farmers’ Co-op. Company will similarly amalgamate. The unity of the Gisborne Sheepfaimers’ Company will be maintained, but the freezing and mercantile branches will be entirely separated and controlled by a separate board of directors.
