DUNEDIN, May 12

A youth named Robert Henry Brockil pleaded guilty in the Police Court to charges of converting to his own use sums totalling .002, the property of his employer. Accused, whose age is 16, was employed in a solicitor’s office, and trust moneys were given to him to hank. lie used about £IOO of the money, which was spent in joy rides, including one to Christchurch, where he was arrested. A sum of £lB7 was found in his possession and some cheques for small amounts were also recovered. Accused was committed for sentence.
