A WAR TRAGEDY

BRUSSELS, May 8. The bodies of forty British soldiers were discovered in a cellar in the Grande Place at Yprcs. They were evidently overcome by gas and were lying peacefully with their heads pillowed on their arms. The tragedy apparently dates back to the summer of 1915 when practically a platoon disappeared in the vicinity, supposedly wiped out by the bursting of a German, fifteen inch shelL
