The Methodist General Conference dis- - .cussed a suggestion that the Solomon IsT&nds district, including Bougainville and Fuka, should be transferred to the New Zealand Conference in 1922. The Rev. C. ■ H. Laws declared that if the dominion was to accept the financial responsibility while ,-the- General Conference retained the larger share of the administration. New Zealand would say, “No thank you.” She would not : accept the responsibility without control. The debate was adjourned.
