Messrs Wright, Stepbenson, and Co. report for the week ending 15th November, 1873, as follows : — Fat Cattle. — A rather large supply of 128 head came forward, hut lust week's rates were fully maintained. We sold on account of Messrs Maitland "Bros., and others 35 liea !, mostly prime quality, which brou ht from 30s to 33s per lOUlb. We also sold 2 extra fine bullocks, bred and fattened by Messrs Findljiy Bros., Mosgiel, for £22 10s and £25. We quote prime quality 30s to 338 per 1001 b ; medium do, 265. Fat Sheep. — 500 were penned, which we sold as follows : 2CO half-breds (shorn) at 12s ; 300 do in wool at 18s 6d to 18s 9d. We also sold privately 850 cro9s-breds at 4d per lb. We quote prime half-bred 9in wool 4d per lb ; do shorn 2£d ; merinos in wool 3£d. i Fat Lambs. — 66 were penned and sold, at from j 11s to 13s 6J each. Store Cattle. — There is a good demand for grown bullocks. We quote bullocks, 3 to 5 years, £4 15s to £5 5s ; spayed cows, £3 5s to £3 10s ; tnise;! lots 45a to 55?. Store Sheep. — We have enquiries for half-breds and merino wether?, but as shearing is now pretty general, very few are offering. We quote shorn half-breda 7s 6d to 8s ; do merinos, oa. Horses. — There is an excellent demand for good heavy draughts and strong upstanding saddle and light harness horses. We sold at our yar*U on account oi Mr James Glasson, 30 draught mares and geldings, ex Omeo, from Melbourne. They met with keen competition, and were all cleared at satis 'actory prices, bringing as they did, £38 to £72 each. We also sold 20 saddle and light harness horses, Provincial bred, at from £12 to £22. We quote first-class draughts £60 to £70 ; medium do, £35 to £40 ; good hacks and light harness horses, £20 to £27 ; medium do, £14 to £17 ; light and inferior, £6 to £8. Sheepskins. — At our sale on Wednesday we disposed of a considerable number, as follows : — Green half-breds, 6s 6d to 6s 8d ; do merinos, 5s Id to 5s 3d ; dry half-breJß, 2s to 6s 8d ; do merinos, 2s 2d to 5s 2d. Hides. — A few medium weights realised 16s to 19s each. Tallow. — None offered. Grain. — Wheat is in but moderate demand at 5s 3d to 5s 4i for first class samples. Oats are in fair enquiry at 4s to 4s 2d per bushel for good feed ; and 4s 3d to 4a 4d for milling qualities.
