Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report for the week ending Ist November, 1573, as follows : — Fat Cattle. — A fair supply came to hand ; mostly of medium quality, and last week's rates ■were fully maintained. We sold 27 head, chiefly cows, and comprising some of prime quality, at from X6 2s 6 i to £12 10s, equal to 25s per 100 1b for middling quality, and 30s to 32b for prime. Fat Sheep. — The market is pretty bare, owing to the non— arrival of some lots that had been contracted for. 325 were penned. We sold 50 balf-breds, shorn, at 13s 6d. Other sales were 275 merinos, middling quality, at 13s 6d. We delivered 500 sheep contracted for at 3d per lb for half-bredf>, ard 3fd for merinos, and also sold privately 750 half- breds at 4d per lb. Fat L»mbs. — 80 penned which we sold at 11s each. We also sold privately, for forward delivery, 120 at 9s each. Store Cattle. — Our sales duiing the week have been >■ 6 head mixed cattle, at for steers, 2 to 3 years, £4, and cows £3. We quote — Bullocks, 3to 5 years, £4 10s to £5 ; spayed cows ; £3 ; mixed lots, 45s to 50s. Store Sheep. — We have enquiries' for wethers, both merino and half-bred, for delivery -off the shears. We sold 300 half-bred hoggets, shorn at Bs, and 800 half-bred ewes in wool, with lambs at foot, at 20s. We quote merino wethers in wool, 10s ; do, shorn, 4s 6.1 to 5s ; "half-breds iv wool, 12s 6d ; do, shorn, 7s 6d to 8s 6d. Horses.— At our yards on Saturday a large number came forward, mostly inferior light stock, of which a considerable proportion changed hands. Good draughts and li^ht harness horses are in excellent demand. We shall offer at our yards on* Saturday, Bth inst., 32 very superior draught mares and geldings, ex Omeo, from Melbourne. We quote first-class draughts £55 to £60 ; medium do, £30 to £35 ; good hacks and light harness horaes, £25 to £30 ; medium do, JBI2 to £16 ; light and inferior, £4 to £7. Sheepskins — At our Bale on Wednesday there was a good attendance and the lots offered were all cleared at- a Blight advance on last week's rates. Sales were made as follows: — Half-bred green skins,. 6s 3d to 6s 9d ; merino do, 4s lid to 6s 3d ; station dry skins, 3s to 4s , lOd, according to quality. Hides meet with a ready sale at about last week's figures. Our sales were at 17s 9d to 20s 6d for sound of medium weights, and 13s 3d to K3*9dfor light and inferior. Ctnun. — There is a little movement in wheat, but prices are without change, say 5s 3d to 5s 6d per bushel for first class samples, and 4s to 4s 6 i for inferior. In oats there is very little doing. Feed may be quoted at 4s to 4s Id per bushel ; milling, 4s 3d.
