To have a currency of twenty years from the date of issue, and bear interest at the rate of six per cent, per j annum, payable half-yearly at Dunelin or InverSMrgill. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Tenders to be endorsed, " Tender for Debentures." The interest and sinking funds on loans are a first charge upon the rates. The Debentures will be redeemable bj a Sinking Fund, invested annually by Trustees appointed by the Superintendent. .-- The money raised will be expended exclusively on the drainage of the town, and formation oi streets. The Rates for the statutory financial year, ending 19th April, 1872, amounted to £1046 9s, of which £10 18s 6d remains unpaid. For 1873, £1230. For 1874, £1386.
