NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undersigned have this day entered into partnership as Farriers and General Blacksmiths, under the style or firm of " Dunlop and Reidie." ANDREW DUNLOP DAVID REIDIE. Invercargill, October 1, 1873. WITH reference to the above, Dunlop and Beidie beg to announce that they will carry on business in those commodious new promises situated in Dee street, opposite the Melbourne Hotel. While respectively thanking their former customers for the support given them for the last 10 years while carrying on business separately — Mr Dunlop at Harrisville, and Mr Reidie at Long Bush — they beg to assure them that their best efforts will be employed under the new regime to merit a continuation of confidence. Under the new arrangement, Mr Dunlop will be able to devote more time to the practice of his profession as a Veterinary Surgeon than formerly, and settlers and others requiring his services in that capacity can therefore rely upon their cases being promptly attended to. A horse infirmary, in connection with the other premises, is in course of erection for the accommodation of animals requiring medical treatment. Mr Reidie's special attention will be given to the Agricultural Implement Department. Settlers wishing colts castrated at their own farms are requested to forward notice as early as possible, as Mr Dunlop intends shortly to start upon his usual seasonal tour for that purpose.
