Mails for the undermentioned places will close on Friday, 3rd October, as under— For India, China, and Continent of Europe, by direct mails, at 8.30 a.m. For Australian Colonies at 8.45 a.m. America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via Suez and Southampton, or via Suez and Brindisi, at 9 a.m. Late letters bearing one additional rate in postage stamps will be received for the Australian Colonies at 9 a.m., and for the mails via Suez at 9.5 a.m. For Newspapers at 8 a.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters, Thursday, 2nd, at 5 p.m. T.
