PUBLIC RECOGNITION.
k NUMBER of the Citizens having resolved A to invite Mr Wood, the late and first Mayor of this town, to a Public Dinner, as a mark of respect for, and appreciation of, his services during his term of office, respectfully request such of their fellow-citizens as are willing to cooperate in this matter to meet at the Council Hall, on Wednesday evening, the 20th inst., at halfpast seven o'clock.
