Doors open at half-past six, and tea will be on the table at seven. Tickets, 2s 6d each, may be had at the Post Office, Woodlands, and from the members of committee. The proeeds will be devoted to the Building Fund. ON Thursday, 22nd May, 1873, 5501 acres Agricultural Land (Conical Hill Station), Waipahee and Glenkenich Districts, will be open for application at the Land Office, Invercargill, at £1 per acre. The above Land being sections la, 2 to 28, block 8, Waipahee District, 4656 acres (from 200 to 300 each section) ; sections 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, block 10, Glenkenich, and 5, 6, and 2, block 12, Glenkenich, 845 acres (from 83 to 100 acres each section), will be open for application at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 22nd May, 1873, at £1 per acre. In the event of more than one application being made for the same land on the same day, it will be put up for sale by auction, open to all bidders. IN pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1870," I "Walter Henry Pearson, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Invercargill, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the 26th day of April, 1873, under the public seal of the Colony, an election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse, Invercargill, at noon on the 20th day of May, 1873 ; and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken on Thursday, the 22nd day of May, 1873. ALL Goods and Merchandise, whether bonded or free, and all Luggage, having arrived at its destination, shall be removed by the consignees from the platform and sheds within twelve working hours ; and any Free Goods, Merchandise, or Luggage not removed by that time, may be stored at the risk and expense of the consignees or owners, and will become subject to such charges as may from time to time be fixed by the railway ; and any Bonded Goods or Merchandise which shall not be removed within the period aforesaid, shall be subject to the payment of the sum of two shillings per ton per day until the removal of the same from the railway premises.
