The following is Messrs J. H. Clough and Co.'b station produce report and price list, dated Melbourne, April 23 :— Wool. — Since our last monthly report this market hs* been bare of supplies, and a very limited, basinets only has been transacted. There bare been three sales by auction held, -at which about 1200 bales were catalogued, but ' only about 700 bales sold, and this consisted principally of odd lots and remainders of clips gone forward; and small fellmongera' parcels. rains have been followed by genial weather, assuring an nbundance of foed and water ; and the growth of the wool has co far proceeded without a check, and gives promisn of a beav> and well-conditioner! fleece at next shearing. Sheepskins —We have sold a gr >d supply at, T iz. ; Butchers' green skins, 2-8 to 4s 9d each ; full wool'd skius, 5s to 6s do $ dry station skius, 5Jd to B£d per lb. Hides — During the month a large business has been done in this market at an advance upon last week's rales, which remain firm. We have had a large quantity brought forward at our usual sales, and have sold at the following prices, viz.: — Green ox, 25s to 36s each; cow, 18s to 25s do, and higher rates for extra heavy weights ; wet salted, sid to 6£d per lb ; calf skius, 6£d to 7fd do. Tallow. — We have to report a~ slight advance upon last month's quotations, with a good de* mand existicg for all descriptions. We have j sold during the month 268 casks as follows, viz : —Inferior, £27 to £30 per ton ; mixed, £31 to j £34 5s do ; beef, £32 to £33 15s do ; mutton, £34 10s to £35 do.
