'"[""HE Aparima Road Board invite tenders for 1 the aftermentioned Road Works : — NEW RIVER SUBDIVISION. Contract No. 6, viz., construction of two box Culverts, and earthwork in connection therewith, on New River Plat Road. Tenders to be given in to Thomas Sutton, Esq., New River Flat, at whose house specifications may be seen, on or before Saturday, 3rd May prox. Contract No. 7, viz., Bridge over Waimatuku Stream, box drain, fascining, and earthwork in connection therewith, on road west side of Waimatuku Bush to Beach Road. Tenders to be given in to W. Boyd, jun., Esq., at whose house specifications may be seen on or before Friday, 2nd May, prox. WAIMATUKU SUBDIVISION. Contract No 8, viz., Ditching, formation, and fascining, on road near section No. 18, Waimatuku Flat. Contract No. 9, viz., 143 chains ditching on road from Limestone Plains to Riverton. Contract No. 10, viz., ditching, formation, 7 chains, fascining, and one box drain on District Road, Otaitai Bush. JACOB'S RIVER SUBDIVISION. Contract No. 11, viz., 4 box-drains, fascining and earth— work in connection therewith on road leading from Main Riverton Road to Mr John Ward's. ' Contract No. 12, viz., bridge, box-drains, fascining, and earth-work in connection therewith on road to Mr Arthur Young's (known as Young's application). Contract No. 13, viz., box-drain, fascining, &c, at Groper's Bush, and works on road leading to Longwood Bush. Contract No. 14, viz., cutting, formation, "and gravelling on Mill Road, near Gummy's Bush. Contract No. 15, viz., 2 Box-drains, and earthwork in connection therewith, on road through Wild and Boatswain's Bushes. Contract No. 16, viz., 10 Box-drains, and earthwork jin connection therewith, on road leading from Bridge across Jacob's River, by Officer's Corner, to Q-roper'a Bush. Contract No. 17, viz., box drain and earthwork in connection therewith on road leading through Mr Saunders's property. Specifications for Contracts Nos. 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 may be seen at Bath and Hopcroft's, Gummy's Bush. Tendera for these worki to be given in to John Cumming, Esq., Jacob's River, on or before Friday, 2nd May prox. Specifications for all the works may be seen also at Mr J. Mitchell's store, Dee-street, Invercargill, and at Mr J. L. Macdonald's store, Riverton, in a few days. All tenders to be sealed, and marked " Tender."
