One of the seamen belonging [to the Tararaa met with an accident on Saturday, whilst helping the railway porters to push a few trucks of sleepers along the wharf, to enable the cargo for the Tararua to be put alongside^ through some of the sleepers falling from the truck, and one catching the man's finger on top of the buffer, brumng it to Buch an extent that Capt. Rouse thought it adrisabla to send the man up per train, to have it attended to by Dr Grigor.
