The following is Messrs J. H. Cloush and Co.'s station produse report and price list, dated Melbourne, March 29, 1873 : — Wool. — Since our last monthly report the wool market has been very quiet ; there has been only a limited quantity of wool to come forward, which, consisting of indifferent lots and remnants of clips already shipped, finds small favor with buyers, and telegraphic advices from the home markets continuing to be of a very unsatisfactory character, very little business has been transacted, and that only at a corresponding reduction in prices to that established in Eurooe. There have only been three public auction sales held during the month, at which 2316 bales were offered, and of which, by auction and private sale, about 1650 bales changed hands. The advices of the unsettled state of trade in England depressing prices at the London wool sales has, to some extent, cheeked the advancing rates of station properties, of which a large number have changed hands, many at very high rates. There are some splendid properties now in the market, and as capital is in plenty here, and rates of interest ruling lower than at any previous period in the history of the colony, they will no doubt realise prices highly satisfactory to the vendors. The prospects of the ensuing clip of wool are very good on the whole, as there have been frequent rains during the season, giving feed and water in abundance, though in some districts, a visitation of grasshoppers or locusts has almost denuded th.: ground of grass, making it necessary for the squatter to remove his stock to other quarters. The new growth of herbage will soon, however, remedy this temporary inconvenience, and next ■hearing is expected to be of first quality for length, strength and quantity. Sheepskins.— Our usual sales of the month have been fully attended by the buyers, and we have disposed of an average supply. Prices, however, eince receipt of the telegrams reporting
