Mr Young's mob of 60 head were sold in one lot at 37s 6d a head. A better figure would have been obtained, but the cattle were too wild for paddock purposes* A small lot of 3 year old steers brought 40s. The old merino ewes realised 3s 3d in one lot; The demand for all classes ot store sheep continues, and although the supply is nearly equal to the demand, there is a considerable number changing hands, as the stations are J now weaning and selling off surplus stock.
