Messrs Wright, Stephonson, and Co. report for the week ending 15th March as follows :— Fat Cattle. —The number in beinc small, prrrpg obtained were fully 2s 6d per 100' bs over last week's rates. 30 head were yarded, which brought from 20s to 22s per lOOlbs. Fat Sheep. —looo were penned of good to medium quality, of which we sold the following : — 770 merino wethers, at from 6s 6d to 89; SO merino eweß, at 6s 6d. The rest were turned out. We also sold privately 500 merino wethers, at 8s 6d. We quote prime quality mutton 2£d per lb. Store Cattle. —No transactions. Store Sheep.—The enquiry continues active for almost all descriptions. Our sales comprise the following:—6oo half-bred ewes, at 12b; 1500 full-mouthed merino ewes, at 4s fid ; 5500 all ages, at 4s 6d; 1000 merino wethers, six tooth, at 6s 6J. We quote: CroBS-breds, 10s to 11s; do, lambs, 8s to 8s 6d ; merino wethers, four and six-tooth, 6s 6d ; do, ewes, two, four, and sixtooth, 6s to 6s 6d ; full-mouthed, 4s to 4s 6d. Horses. —The demand for good heavy draught stock is well maintained. On Saturday we >-old. on account of Mr John Trestail, a shipment ex Alhumbra, from Melbourne, at from £31 10* to £58. We quote first-class draughts, £55 to £66 ; medium do, £30 to £35 ; pood hacks and light harness horses, £15 to £25; medium do, £11 to £14; light and inferior, £3 to £6. Grain. —There is scarcely any alteration to note in the tone of the market, which remains quietly firm. Wheat. —Good samples are worth 4b 6 1 per bushel. Oats. —Milling, 2s 31 per bushel; feed, 2s Id to 2s 2d. Barley. —Malting, 6s to 6s 6d.
