YOUNG Hebo, imported by Mr Hugh Rice (his present owner) from Tasmania. He is rising 6 years old, is a beautiful dappled chestnut, stands 17 hands high, has a noble temper, is free from all unnatural blemishes, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter. His sire, Lincolnshire Hero, was imported from England by R. Q. Kermode, Esq., Tasmania, at a cost of £600 ; dam, Daisy, by Lincoln, imported by the late Dr Wilmore ; Daisy's dam, Flower, also imported by the late Dr Wilmore, Tasmania. YouNft Hebo waß bred by John Symons, Esq., Oaks, Tasmania. When imported, he was shown at Invercargill as a two-year-old, and succeeded in carrying away the first prize, defeating a field of seven horses. Tebms £3. Pbince Aipbed is a dark bay four-year-old horse, standing 16 hands high, of immense power and strength, and of good temper. His legs are perfectly clean, and he is altogether without blemish. For breeding cross country horses and first-class hacks, no horse could be better adapted. His sire's (King Alfred) stock are noted in steeplechasing and the hunting field in Australia, as witness the performances of Inglesides, Tarn o' Shanter, Ballarat, Shepherdess, Ada, Pyrrhus, Alfred* Archer, and many otherß. His name as sire is considered sufficient guarantee for- first- r"lass jumping qualities. Pbinoe Axfbed will travel through Wallacetown, Long Bush, Winton, and Ryal Bush.
