Auckland, Jan. 16. An additional sum of £16 13s has been collected for the Martin's Bay settlers, j The butchers' assistants are agitating | for a decrease of the hours of labor. The Auckland imports for tho last quarter were £385,385. The Bella Mary, from Hobart Town, reports that bops are dull ; wheat, 6a to 6s 3d ; flour, £14 ; potatoes 6s to Bs. Wellington, Jan. 16. A movement is on foot here to present a souvenir to Lady Bo wen, and to give the Governor a farewell dejeuner. Cheistchuech, Jan. 16. Mr C. W. Turner proceeds to London to-morrow by the Dakota to initiate the business of the New Zealand Shipping Company, and will probably remain a year. Hokitika, Jan 16. The Eangitoto has arrived from Melbourne.
