Messrs Wright, 1 Stephenson & Co. report for - tne weefc ending 2 let December oa follows :'— Fat Cattle.— There was a fall market, attended by a considerable decline inprices. 63 head were yarded, of which we Bold 43 head good quality, at figures equal to 19s to 21s p«r 100 lbs ; medium quality brought 17s per ICO lbe. We aleo •old privately 40 head good quality at 20s per 100 lbs. fat Sheep. — The moderate supply has had the effect of keeping r*te« firm «t our quotations. 300 merino wether* aadl2o do ewes were penned. We sold 50 merino wethers, little better thaa stores, at 6s 6d, and 120 merino ewes, do, at 3s 6d to 5s 9d ; also, privately, 300 merino ewes at 2d per lb, and 350 half-breds at 2£d per lb.
