All Stock shown mu»t be bonafide the Property of the Exhibitor or his Principal. 2. Entries in writing must be lodged with the Secretary three clear days before the day of show, when the Tickets will be given, stating the class in which the entry is made ; which ticket the person in charge of the animals or articles inten-led for exhibition must produce at the gate, in order to show in what position the Exhibits are to be placed. 3. An entrance-fee will be charged to compet'ters on each exhibit., at the rate of fivo per' cent, for subscribers of one guinea presenting Member's Ticket for current- year, and ten per cent, for non-9ubsuriborß, on the amount of the first pvizo in the class in which the entry is made . 4. On paymenU-of the annual subscription for the yoar ending 30th Septomber, 1873, a cird will be given, bearing the Member's name, which shall admit him ou prcsentatiou to all the Society's exhibitions during the year. 5. All Implements, Machinery, &c, must be placed in the Show Yards before 5 p.m. of Wednesday, 11th December, and all live stock before 9 a.m. of Thursday, 12th December, except Horses, which must be in the Yards by halfpast 9 am. Note — Intending Competitors are particularly requested to observe the latest date fixed for the reception of Entries, thnt the " Entry Ticket" must bo produced with each Jot at the gates of 1 the Show YarJ, and also that no aninvil or article will be received for exhibition in the Yards after the dates and hours specified, as the rules having reference to these matters will be strictly enforced ; except in cases where it can bo proved to the satisfaction of the Committee that the delay was the result of circumstances over which the Exhibitor had no control. 6. One man will bo allowed in. charge of each 106 if necessary. 7. The public will be admitted to the Yards from 11 to 12 o'clock of Thursday, the 12th December (i.e., during the adjudication of the Prizes), on payment of 2s 6d ; after that time, at Is. Children, half-price. Gates close at 7 p.m. 8. No person will be permitted to make any drawings of Stock, Machinery, &c, without the consent of the Owner, obtained through the Secretary. 9. ADy Implement adapted to the agriculture of the Colony, which may be brought forward, shall receive a prize, if considered meritorious. In awarding the prizes for implements, workmanship, utility, and cheapness, will be considered. 10. The Judges are empowered to [withhold the prizes in any department in which there is not sufficient merit. Their decision in all cases to be final. 11. Any prize awarded shall be considered to have lapaed if not applied for within twelve months from date of award. 12. No animal or article can be removed from the Show Y'ard3 before 5 o'clock p.m. of Thursday, 12th December. 13. All Exhibitors of Stock will be required to proride their own forage. 14. No animal of any herd with regard to which there may be any suspicion of disease, will be knowingly received at the Yards, and Owners will, if necessary, be required to make a declaration as to whether their herd has been diseased within six months prior to the day of the Show. 15. No animal gaining a first prize can compete again in any other class. 16. The agosof all 6tock must date from the Ist July in each year. 17. Horses will not be admitted saddled.
