Later news from the new diggings says that all the ground is taken up. The sinking is shallow, and the gold coarae. Tbe Port Chalmers Naval Brigade beat the officers of H.M.S. Dido, in a rifle match, by 236 points. Peeress and Maekay have been disqualified by tbe Jockey Club.
