AUSTRALIA.
Archbishop Folding and his clergy transmitted a telegram to the Pope, to which the following reply, dated Nov. Bth, has been received: — "The Supreme Pontiff receives with great pleasure the congratulations of the Archbishop, with the assembled clergy, and most willingly transmits through the swift electric current the benediction aeked for." A telegram (not from Eeuter) received from Boston, dated Sunday, says :— A tcost disastrous fire broke out this morning, when the whole of the buildings from Commercial to Centre-streets, were destroyed. Other buildings were blown up to stay the pTogresa of the flames. Damage has been already done to the extent of two hundred millions of dollars The fire is still progressing.
