The s.s Tararua arrived at the wharf at 5 p.m. on the 9th. She left Melbourne at 4 p.m. on the 4th and experienced fine weather on the passage down, bringing 305 tons of cargo and 18 cabin and 49 steerage passengers, with 59 horses and 151 rams for New Zealand ports. The Tararua was to sail for Dunediu at 6 o'clock last evening.
