The most irredeemable bonds yet known to the financial and moral world are vagabonds. Arrangements are in progress for establishing in Scotland and in Ireland schools for the instruction of officers of artillery of the auxiliary aod reserve forces similar to the one already in existence at Woolwich. A powerful disinfectant, especially adapted to the destruction of insects, is prepared by passing sulphurous acid into alcohol.
