CUSTOMS RETURNS.
The following has been collected as Cuitome ■Revenue during the . week ending Saturday,
D. Macrorie, auctioneer, reports :— The inclemency of the weather had a depressing effect on the weekly sule at the Albion Yards last Saturday, a number of horses which had been booked were not brought forward, and none changed hands. The half-acre section in M'Master's estate was fairly cotnpotedfor up to the sum at which the hammer fell, viz., £20, a price anything but encouraging. The three sales I held for Mr Rodgers (to make way for fresh arrivals) were -well attended, and on the whole sufficiently satisfactory to warrant continuance till the allotted stock has been cleared off. Enquiries continue both for farm and town properties, but I hare no transactions to repert. Albion Sale Yards, 12th August, 1872.
