June 17. The Reichstadt, after a seven hours' debate, passed, by 183 to 101, the second reading of a Bill depriving the Jesuits of the rights of citizenship. Serious troubles are feared from the labor movement. A treaty has been signed giving G-ermany the -working: and control of the Luxembourg railways, except for munitions of war. General Hendelstein, who directed the bombardment of Strasbourg, is dead.
