D MACRORIE is instructed by Mr Hugh • Rice, to sell by public auctioD, at 12 o'clock, on the above date, in the Invercargill Sale Yards, the celebrated Lincoln Draught Entire— "YOUNG HER O," Imported by Mr Hugh Rice (his present owner) from Tasmania. He is rising 6 years old, is a beaufi ul dappled chestnut, stands 17 hands high, has a noble temper, is free from all unnatural blemishes, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter. His sire, Lincolnshire Hero, waa imported from England by R. Q, Kermode, Esq., Tasmania, at a cost of £600 ; dam, Daisy, by Lincoln, imported by the late Dr Wilmore ; Daisy's dam, Flower, also imported by the late Dr Wilmore, Tasmania. Youno Hebo was bred by John Symons, Esq., Oaks, Tasmania. When imported, he was shown at Invercargill as a two— year-old, and succeeded in carrying away the first prize, defeating a field cf seven hones. As a speculation, and also to show the favor in which this horse is held in the Western District, the auctioneer may state that last season the receipts for service nearly reached £300. fl F.
