The s.s. Storm Bird arrived at the wharf at daylight on Friday morning. She left Port Chalmers at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 10th inst., and experienced very heavy sea with hard westerly gales on the passage up. The Harbor Co.'s s.s. Beautiful Star left Dunedin at 1 p.m. on the 12th, and experienced fine weather, with fresh easterly winds on the passage up, arriving at the wharf here at 7.30 a.m. on the 13th.
