Estate of James Lang.— Application by Mr Wade on behalf of executors for extension of titn* to file inventory. Granted. Thursday, Jxjxy 4. Shild rick's Petition under the Trustees* KeHef Act. —The Judge held he should not decide, aa there were adverse interests, and with regard to the devise to the Catholic Bishop, he would not decide until the Bishop had an opportunity of appearing by counsel to argue, as the point whether the statutes of mortmain are in force in New Zealand has never been decided. Question of retainer of Mr Harvey. — The Judge held that the retainer was not open to question, granted peremptory order for immediate taxation of costs, and payment out of estate, and ordered that John M'Pherson personally pay Mr Harvey's costs of answering affi lavits and order.
