PUBLIC NOIICfi IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT— 1st — A regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporationa Act, 1867, Section 4, Subdivision 1, Part 1, "for regulating the height from the ground, shape, figure, dimensions, and materials of Porticos or Verandahs," f 2nd — A Regulation made under the authority i of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Cor- ! porations Act, 1867, Section 14, Subdivision 3, Part 1, " for regulating the Formation, &c., of Drains to be laid under any Footway or Channel," 3rd — A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 26, Subdivision 4, Part 1, " for Regulating the Formation, &c , of Crossings across or over Footways Jand Channels," 4th— A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 45, Subdivision 9, Part 1, " for appointing the hours during which it shall not be lawful to drive into or through the town, or any part thereof, any cattle intended for sale, slaughter, or shipment, or travelling from one part of New Zealand, or of any other Colony, to any other place," &c, &o. 5th — A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 4, Part 6, "for appointing the times and hoars daring or at which respectively any registered building or ground shall be used for the purpose for which it is registered or shall be closed," &c., &c." 6th— A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 3, Subdivision 2, Part 7, " for prescribing the distance from any adjoining land, or from any building, within which it shall not be lawful to make or keep any stack of hay, corn, straw, or other produce, if not placed under roof or cover, and for prohibiting or restraining the use for such covering of certain inflammable materials," 7th— A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Ace, 1867, Section 1, Subdivision 1, " for appointing limits within which it shall not be lawful to keep any Swine," 8th — A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 2, Subdivision 1, Part 8, " for appointing . hours for the removal of night-soil, offal, or other offensive refuse or matter, and a place for the deposit of the same," 9th — A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 43, Subdivision 1, Part 10, " for appointing the seTeral sums to be paid for licenses for hackney carriages," <tc, &c. 10th — A Regulation made under the authority of the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 73, Subdivision 2, Part 10, " for appointing the several sums to be paid for license for carts," «tc., Ac. 11th— A Regulation made under the authority ot the 13th Schedule of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1867, Section 88, Subdivision 4, Part 10, " for appointing the several sums to be paid for licenses byhawkers or pedlars," Have been passed by the Town Council of Invercargiil this 20th day of June, 1872, and are deposited for inspection at this office. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Burgess Roll may be inspected at the Town Clerk's temporary office, Odfellows' Hall, Tay-street. Any person whose name has been omitted may claim up to the 3rd day of July next to have his name inserted. Objections to any name on the 8011, or to claims to hare names inserted on the Roll, may be lodged up to sth day of July. Blank forms of claims and objections can be obtained on application.
