Sir Philip Wodehouse, the new Governor of Bombay, arrived there on the Ist. A Flying Squadron, consisting of six i fine frigates, under Rear- Admiral Seymour, arrived at Bombay on the 22nd April. The oflicers and men have been feted. 1500 tars were received ashore. The squadron was ordered home, and left via Mauritius and the Cape on the 6th. The Cadmus alone stays to join the China fleet.
