The poles to be sawn from the heart of iotara. The.:polea to be of the following dimensions, thirty (30) to be twenty? five (25) and two hundred and. fifty (250) twenty [ (20) feet long. To be eight (8) inches square. at the butt, and six (6) inches square at the top. The poles to be sound, straight, and free -from shakes, knots, and sap; N.B.—N'o poU'toilf dp accepted which contains the least sap. The poles to be laid along the Invercargill and Win^n railway between "its junction with the Riverfcon ! road and Winton, at points hereafter to be indicated. . j 1 The poles to be delivered- within three months of thie date of signing the contract. , Tenders are to specify the price per pole as per size given.
