NOTICE is hereby given that the Revising Officer for the above Electoral Districts will hold Courts for the revision of the respective Lists of Voters for the said districts at the times and places following— For the District of Mataura, at the R esident Magistrate's Courthouse, Invercargill, on Saturday, Ist day of June, 1872, at noon ; and at the house of Mr Pollock, Mataura Bridge, on Tuesday, the 11th day of June, 1872, at 2 p.m. For the District of Invercargill, at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse, Invercargill, on Thursday, the 30th day of May, 1872, at 12 o'clock noon. Fpr the District of Riverton, at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse, Riverton, on Wednesday, the sth day of June, 1872, at 12 o'clock noon. For the District of Wallace, at Walker's hotel, Otautau, on Thursday, the 6th day of June, 1872, at 12 o'clock; and at Morrison's hotel, Benmore, on Friday, the 14th day of June, 1872, at 1 o'clock in the afternoon: At which Courts will be heard and determined all claims duly made to have names inserted in the said' Lists of Voters, and all objections duly made to the names of persons being retained or placed on the Electoral Rolls of the said districts. The names bf persona whose Christian names, or whose qualifications shall be wholly omitted where by law required to be specified in the said Lists, or whose places of abode, or the nature of whose qualification shall be insufficiently described for the purpose of being identified, will be expunged, unless the matter so omitted, or insufficiently described, be there supplied. The Revising Officer will also at the said Courts make such corrections in the said Lißts, and do all such other acts as are required of him by the. " Registration of Electors Act, 1866."
