Christchurch, April 4. The weather was fine to-day. The fifth sat, 400, 500, and 600 yards, have fired, Muir, of Otago, making 66, first ; Christie, Otago, '64, second ; Gray, Wellington, 62, third ; Kelly, Constabulary, 62, fourth ; Moore, Auckland, 62, fifth ; Macfarland, Otago, 60, sixth ; Gordon, "Wellington, 59, seventh ; Humphries, Taranaki, 59, eighth ; Bassatt, "Wellington, 59, ninth ; Wales, Otag>, 59, tenth. In the cavalry 3rd match, Reid, of Wellington, scored 73, anil Cutnmings, of Wellington, 72. This being the last cavalry match, Cummings takes the cavalry championship, with the aggregate score of 226 ; Lockett, of Wellington, being second with 2L5 ; and Judge, of Canterbury, third with 210. The ten highest for the championship now are— Muir, 168 ; Wales, 164 ; Hoskins;l62 ; Brown, 161 ; Cowie, 159; Reid, 155 ; P;.ilpotts, 154 ; Humphries, 154 ; Blatch, 152 ; and Carter, 152.
