DUNEDIN.

The Evening Star of the 9th inst reports : — The market is rather bare of wheat. Threshing has not been gone into very extensively yet, and millers have consequently not been able to secure parcels beyond what they want for the executing of ordinary trade orders in flour. Inferior samples, suitable ior making second-class flour, are unsaleable — the value probably is about 3s 9d. For fowl wheat there is a ready sale, from 3s to 3s 3d. Good Bamples of milling oats are worth 2s 2d ; feeding is variously placed at 1b lOd to 2s Id. Feeding barley is not wanted. Malting parcels find purchasers at 4s 3d to 43 6.1. For flour there exists an active demand at £12 10s to £12 15s ; second class is quitted at £9 10a to £10. Bran is plentiful, and the trade is supplied at £3 ss. Pollard is at £4. Oatmeal quiet at £13. Pearl barley £17. Chaff £4. Hay £3 15s. Potatoes, Australian, £6 ; Provincial, £7
