PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that the Town Assessment for the year 1871-72, has been submitted to the Town Council, and allowed ; that the same is deposited at the Town Clerk's Office, Kelvin-street, and may be daily inspected between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.*, by any person interested therein. And NOTICE is FURTHER GIVEN, that any appeals against the assessment may be lodged at the Town Clerk'a Office, Kelvin street (where blank forms may be had), on or before the 4th day of March, and a copy of each notice of appeal must be delivered by the appellant to the Kesident Magistrate, Inverjargill, six clear days before the day to be appointed for, hearing any appeals.
