WOOL.
The wool trade remains steady. Transactions are not numerous. The next sales open on the Bth February. The probable arrivals are set down at 70,000 bales. Considerable reductions in importers' charges for warehousing wool are announced. It is expected that the late rates for wool will be maintained.
