The b.s. Keera left Port Chalmers at 5.30 p.m. on the 10 <h inst., and experienced strong head winds on the trip up. The ship Christian M'Ausland arrived at the heads on Sunday night at dusk, in charge of Mr Pilot London. She wa3 boarded by Capt. Thorn eon and brought up to her anchorage, and berthed Alongside the wharf on Monday morning. She is a fine iron ship, possessing apparently on and above her decks all the latest improvements. She will take, in addition to preserved meats and tallow, about 4,500 bales of wool. The Rangitoto left Hobsou's Bay at 6 p. m. on the 22nd ult. , arrived off Hokitika at 6a.m. on the 29th$ transhipped mails and cargo into the steam tender Waipara, and left at 11 a. m. for tbe Grey, arriving there at Ip. m. ; was tendered by the Despatch, and sailed at 2p. m. ; arrived at Nelson at*B a. m. next day ; left again at 10 a. m. , and reached Wellington at 7.30 p. m. ; left on the Ist inst. at 1.30 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton at 7.30 a.m. on the 2nd — having had moderate weather throughout. Left Lyttelton at 6.30 p.m. on the 4th j arrived in Timaru roadstead at 9 a.m. on the sth ; left at noon, and reached Oamaru at 4.30 p.m. ; left again at 6 p.m. , and encountered very heavy head winds and seas, with thick weather to arrival off the Heads, when she hove to until daylight. Left Port Chalmers at 3 a.m. on the 10th, and arrived in Bluff Harbor at 4 o'clock.
