NOKOMAI FLAT GOLD MINING COMPANY (LIMITED.) NOTICE. — At a meeting of Shareholders, held on the 22nd January, at the Nokomai, it was resolved that the calls of 2s 6d per share be paid as under, viz. — First call on application, second call on allotment, and the remaining two calls at intervals of one month each. PROSPECTUS OF THE NOKOMAI FLAT GOLD MINING COMPANY (LIMITED.) /~i APIT AL, £1000, in 2000 shares of 10s each, \J subdivided into 8000 scrip of 2s 6d each, payable as follows, viz. : — 2s 6d per share on aplication, 2s 6 d on allotment, and the remaining 2 calls at intervals of one month. This company has been formed for the purpose of working the Flat opposite the Lower Township, Nokomai. It has already obtained an extended claim, and has also applied to the Superintendent for a Special Grant, which has been recommended by the Warden. The ground is believed to be highly auriferous, and it is the opinion of all the miners in the district that there must be heavy deposits of gold in the flat, as independent of the run of gold in the Nokomai, the runs on many or all of the rich spurs and gullies in the neighborhood of the Township have been traced into ground now intended to be worked by this Company. As there is a great extent of ground at present unoccupied, which, in the event of this Company proving successful, is certain to be taken up and worked by other Companies, thereby opening a steady and remunerative field of employment for a large population, it is needless to impress upon the minds of business people and others interested in the prosperity of the Border Goldfields, what an impetus it will give to the business of Invercargill and Queenstown (and indirectly to that of Dunedin), and to the affairs of the district of Southland generally. Application for shares to be made to the Secretary, Nokomai, of whom forms of applica- i tion can be obtained, enclosing 2s 6d for each scrip ; or, the amount to be lodged in the Bank of New Zealand, Invercargill or Queenstown, to the credit of the Company, and the Manager's receipt for the amount sent with the application. 10s.
